Blogging again?

I can't believe how long its been since i have blogged. I think I am going to try to post from time to time even if I am the only one who looks at it

Family pictures were taking in Nov '12 for our Christmas card.
I love looking back at family pictures because of the memories it brings up.

Lucy was sick with 105 temp
Weston was sleep deprived and NOT happy
Everett was bribed with whatever he wanted
Chris was forced but was a good sport
I was stressed to the max

was it worth it? YES always worth it.
I love looking back at family photos.
It amazes me that we have gone from single to married to 1 kid to now 4.

I sure love my family.

School Days

School started for my kids back in Aug, but I thought I post a couple pictures of their first day. They are loving school! I am loving my mornings with ONLY 1 Child (that will soon be over though) for real though I CAN NOT believe how much I can get done with 1 kid-he isn't a easy child either, but life just got way easier!!
London is in half day kindergarten. She didn't meet the deadline for kindergarten, but she tested up so we thought we would try it this year. She loves it! She is the youngest, but doing really well.We still don't know what she will do next year- maybe kindergarten again or send to first grade? Its life decisions people!

Our sweet Everett started preschool this year. He started when he was not quite 3 and that seemed sooo young. We would have never started him this early, but he qualified for the speech program so we figured why not?!
He was SOOO excited that he gets to ride the bus and everything! I love that they even drive down our dirt road and pick him up at our front door!
He and London go to the same school and see each other at recess which I think is so cute!
London says he ignores her though when he sees her- too funny!

We live only a couple miles from the school and yet Everett is asleep 9 times out f 10 when they drop him off! So much for naps!!

Preschool

London had her last day of preschool last week.
At first I wasn't so sure about the class we put her in, but it ended up being a really good thing for her.
Mrs Leavitt was a great teacher.

Last game

London's last soccer game came on went. She loved her experience. When she would score a goal she would stop dead in tracks and wait for us to cheer and recognize her accomplishment. It was pretty funny!
London to Grandma Lamb
London-"grandma i got a trophy in soccer today"
Grandma- "Wow you're amazing good job"
London "yeah but EVERYONE got one"

Ballet

I feel like I have been working a ton lately. I guess that's because i have.
I love what I do, but I love being a Mom more.
I rescheduled all my appts for the day and made a date with my favorite little girl.
The BYU ballet was in town and London and I wanted to go. We made a night of it and had a wonderful time.
They invited all the little girls to dance on stage and I was shocked London went up there.
She also stayed after so she could meet and take pictures with the ballerina's
so cute!
special thanks to My friend, Erin who saved our seats and provided London with water and candy :)

Pepper, Salty, and Grass

Today we got a drop off of three baby chickens. The kids are in heaven!!
London already named them, Pepper, Salty and Grass!
London: "mom the chickens don't have a mom so I am going to be their mom and take care of them"
Me "sounds awesome London...will you feed them and everything?"
London: "yes...and I already put them in "time out" for scratching me"

Artsy Fartsy

London: while sitting at the table looking out the window where the cows are "mom, I think I am going to draw a cow"
Me: "London HOLY COW that is AMAZING! I am so proud of you!!"
London "its okay...It kind of looks like a camel"
This little girl LOVES all things art- makes me a tad sad she is so hard on herself. I have to keep reminding her that she is 4!
Maybe she will take after her grandma and great-grandmother who are very artsy fartsy?? If she doesn't that's fine, too! i survived with very little artistic ability. If fact this drawing is way better then anything I could draw.
For those of you think I am bragging about my child...
I am!

Home on the Range

Its funny how life works out sometimes. One minute we have no plans of moving to the farm, and then the next minute we are moving to the farm! 3 years ago my dad took me to look at the farm house. I loved it, but it needed some work. 7 months ago my brothers family moved into the farm house temporally and did a TON of work on it! It looked like a different house on the inside and they made the house look so charming!

Living at the farm has been so fun for us. The kids love it! I feel like I can breath. We have no idea how long we will be here(we hope for a long time), but for now we are enjoying it immensely.

We miss my brother and his family though-why does everyone keep moving from us?? sniff sniff!

Preschool field trip

London's preschool took a little field trip to pumpkin patch. It actually turned out to be the most expensive pumpkin patch because I ended up backing into another car :( Not fun!!
The kids had a blast though!

Stylish

Me- "London put your silver shoes on its time to go"
London- "I wore those yesterday...i can't wear them everyday"
London- "I am think I am going to wear your pink hat today...It goes really well with the pink stripes in my skirt"
London-"Everyone said they liked my new shirt at school today"
I think we might have a stylish girl on our hands, and I think that worries me a bit!

Perfect Day

Today was perfect!
I didn't have one single thing we HAD to do. So we didn't!
I let the kids have ice cream for lunch, and it felt good to make them so unbelievably happy!
London ate hers within 2 seconds and Everett took about an hour to eat. It killed London!!
Then I took the kids to daddy's office just as he was getting off work. We then went out to dinner. I am pretty sure that was our first time with all 3 kids. I don't like taking the kids to dinner! They were in heaven!!
Like i said, today was just perfect!

I am 4!

London turned 4 today! I still can't believe it! 4 means she is no longer a baby, that's hard for me! I love this girl to pieces!
She REALLY wanted a party this year. I didn't think she should because we had one last year, but of course her Dad is a BIG softy and wanted her to have one, too. So I caved. I am glad I did because it was fun! She wanted EVERYONE there! and she wanted it to be a costume party (little early in the season)
Anyway, happy b-day London girl!

PARTY

Loving Photoshop

Here are a couple projects that i have made recently with photoshop. Its so fun for me! Obviously i am not a pro or really have a clue what i am doing, but i like being able to make my own invites for my family
First picture: London's birthday invite (5x7)
Second picture: 16x20 poster that we put on the front door (entrance to party)

This one I DID NOT do, but its too cute not to show. My friend, Michele is AMAZING!
Her son, Bryce had a birthday the same weekend as London and I LOVED her thank you notes she sent out. For real aren't they cute!?!
You are amazing Michele!! How you pulled that party off in two days I will never know!!
(I am sure you can tell which is London he he)
