Crazy. Silly. Love

Life has been crazy!
We know how to be silly and we for sure know how to be crazy, but we are also learning there is a LOT of love to go around.

Until I can get caught up with all the post I am behind on here are a few pictures of what we have been up to. We have been busy with so many fun things and I have a gazillion pictures to go through. Hopefully soon. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Baby blessing, Turning 30,Wedding shower, nieces wedding etc...

I am hoping by documenting so many memories my kids will get a glimpse of how lucky they are. They sure have a fun very loving Dad who plays with them non stop. I told him sometimes i need to be the hero and he needs to be the bad guy. Still not happening!
Getting emotional when seeing my kids cute shadows realizing they are only small for a short time. Wishing I could keep them little forever. Loving they are so close in age- what a fun life they get to share together ( I keep telling myself this when I am ready to pull out my hair)

Chris's garden-our 5th baby
London's ballet-so much growth for her during this this time.
Learning how to shop with 4-learning its not wise PLUS there is no room for food in the cart!
also realizing my kids are happy and that's all that matters. Who cares if my hair hasn't been combed for two days- I have spit up all over me and I smell. Its only for a short period in time!
Gosh I love them!

Every day life

We sure have been having fun, and working hard
Here are a few pictures of some things we have been up to.

The boys playing on the roof- we have a balcony on the top of the house that the kids love. I would not allow them to go up there until all the drywall etc.. was fixed and I knew that the kids were safe. Well, its fixed and the kids love it! Great views too!
My Dad installed some more horse corrals towards the back of the farm. My brother Tom and his kids helped my Dad a lot with this and Chris has spent a couple days there as well. Chris and my Dad just installed the roof for it. The kids are excited for when its filled with more horses.
We still do our date night trade with our good friends. I love it! The kids love it, too. This weekend was our turn and we took the kids on a farm adventure where we saw a bird nest with eggs (see below), we let them sit on the back hatch of the truck and go for rides, climb the hills, play with the goats and the chickens, and ride the 4 wheelers. It was fun!
Its never too early right?? I got a flat tire on the way to swim lessons. Chris saved the day and came to our rescue. Weston was a good helper.
Aren't these so cool! My SIL, Chelsea found these eggs in the wide open road on the farm. Now my kids and I go check on them every day. The roadrunner bird sure keeps his eye on us though.

Happy

Life is good!
Things are starting to get back to normal. I am learning new ways of doing things with these 3 little kids. Working 3 days a week, taking care of my family, cooking, cleaning, church callings, running, date nights, babysitting co-op etc... I think when you go through a major change like having a baby you have to reevaluate your priorities. Sometimes you have to give up a few things you love. I am lucky that I have an amazing partner in crime who picks up the slack where I am lacking. Every week Chris and I go over our schedule. We share many of the house hold responsibilities. With us both working we have no other choice. It been so nice and things are going much more smoothly. We are both so completely wasted, BUT with all the kids sleeping better life has done a 180. Weston is just the best! He smiles all day long and seems to have a happy soul (I was a little worried there for awhile). I just love this little guy and he seems to love me, too!
(A huge thank you to our family and friends! We are so blessed to have you in our lives! I am so grateful to have so much love and support all around us. I had friends just show up and take the older ones so I could sleep. I had family members show up and do our laundry and clean our house on my b-day (best b-day ever) I could just go on and on. We are just so grateful! So thank you!)

When it rains, it pours!

This has not been our week. Last week Trip and I were talking about speeding tickets-I was saying how I have never gotten out of one. I could cry, flirt nothing worked for me. He was saying how he got out of most of his tickets. This is what Trip tells me to do, "Just be honest with them and they let you go". So guess what happens the very next day? Yep! I get pulled over. I was so sick that day and had no energy to try to do anything-I just said, "okay, thanks sir!" and went about my business. I was a little nervous to tell the hubby, but he had to understand because he also had some news for me. Yesterday this is what he says, "I met a friend of yours today-he drives a nice motorcycle and he remembered who you were" I then said," oh my goodness did you get pulled over too?" Looks like Trip and I will both be going to traffic school (any volunteers to take the kids... for 4 hours?) and, yes! same spot-same speed-same cop!

We also had a very scary moment this week. 2am Wed morning we woke up to our smoke alarms going off. We both jump up and start running through the house. I went to London room first-Trip runs downstairs. I then see smoke coming from the salon. Turns out it was steam- a lot of steam! Turns out another pipe broke, this time the hot water pipe. Water everywhere...again! Salon flooded again! Down to the kitchen again! This is not our week! But, we were so relieved it was just water, not a fire! That was a freaky moment and my heart is still pounding. Trip also gashed his leg pretty good running through the house. The next day I was cleaning up water and blood all at the same time-lovely!

So this week hasn't been all bad, In fact, we have had some really good moments like...

*Awesome family night. We carved pumpkins-I have to say my Ariel pumpkin turned out fantastic! Don't you think? London loved poking hers with a crochet needle and she loved the pumpkin seeds her dad cooked up for her.

* Because my friend saw me get pulled over and she knew i was sick she made us dinner that night. How nice is that!?! Thanks Megan! Rett is 7 weeks old and we are still getting random dinners. Thanks you to all my friends and sister-in-laws you all are fantastic! And the food has been oh so yummy.

*speaking of dinners- I finally feel like we are getting on a schedule and making dinner has become fun thing again. I let London help everyday and she loves it. I think she loves putting on the cute Apron grandma Susan made for her more, but lets face it, we all cook better when we can put a cute apron on right!?! Plus, Trip tell us how cute we are when he gets home-we both love hearing that :) (don't worry the stove was not on)

*We had fewer tears this week from all of us-That's been nice!

*I was able to run everyday this week (running a lot slower but running) Can't wait to start running with all the running girls next week. Lets just pray Rett boy sleeps so I can wake up at 5am to go.

*Rett is starting to smile(although not in picture below) and his chunky legs are so fun to squeeze :)

* We both learned our lesson in speeding-although I thought we were both Grandma drivers before.

Hope you all have a good week and a Happy Halloween! And rememer DON'T SPEED! learn from our mistakes :)

5 Weeks

Wow! Its been 5 weeks and I think I have left the house 3 times :)
The last 5 weeks have been...
Exhausting!
Truth telling
Humbling
Exciting
Sleep depriving
Worth celebrating (birth, anniversary, 2 b-days)
full of smiles and tears
pain (mestitus OH THE PAIN!!)
lots of Pj wearing
messy (house etc...)
Wii playing
no blogging or blog hopping :(
Cooler weather
Lots of reading (what else can you do at 2am with a child who won't go to sleep)
rocking...lots of rocking!
some running (until mestitus came along-yes I started running too soon, live and learn!)
Hair doing (just family)
fun family/friends visits (thanks all for coming over)
No skinny jeans wearing :(
Pee pee in the potty (No I am not potty training, but London sure is forcing the issue-yesterday I agreed to let her sit in the potty and to my shock she went)
Stressful
Happy
Full of kisses...many kisses!!
I have a feeling this is just life and I think I love it!
Here are some pictures of our last 5 weeks-not many!
London at another Home Depot workshop-she loves it!

Chris and his boss, Dennis have the same b-day so they invited us to lunch.

Here we are at Daddy's work

This is my face after Londee put both stickers on me-the stickers say happy b-day to the b-day boys!

Here is Retty Boy. He is getting so big!! His eyelashes and eyebrows are white. I think he will either be really blonde or have some red in there. He really is so cute and a really good baby. He loves to be held. He loves to sleep upright. He still doesn't sleep much at night. And, he loves to pee on me even if he just went (something about taking his diaper off) I am still trying to get use to these man parts :)
