Letters to daddy

Dear Daddy,

You were gone for 2 whole weeks and we missed you. Mom thought it would be cute to dress us up like you and play in your truck. We had fun! Missed you Daddy!!

10 months

Oh this boy!!
We love every inch of him!
He is now 10 months old.
full of teeth-crawling up the stairs-walking along furniture-talking, "uh oh, daddy, momma", eating more then his siblings combined, and 21lbs.
Weston is still having some issues, but developing right on track (or a little ahead from what his Dr said)
I sent my Mom a text saying "I don't know how much more I can mentally handle" her reply, "you don't have a choice"!
From that moment on i have decided we are going to keep on keepin on.
We love our Westy boy!

BiG BoY BeD

This is what the boys room has looked like the last 9 months.

I am kind of sad they are getting bigger, but then again its so fun to see them grow up and enter new stages of life. I want them to always share a room. I can't help but think of the memories they will share together. I just love these boys!!

BiG BoY BeD-its been a couple days and he is doing awesome. In fact, Rett is a wonderful middle child. Bless him for not having any medical problems like the other two.
He has been VERY ready for his BIG BED!

Weston liked switching to Everett's crib, too- standing and all!

London had a melt down when we were putting the other crib away. She started crying/screaming, " but where will the baby girl sleep" The way she talks about "the baby girl" makes us wonder if she knows something we don't.

oh how I love my kids!!

Isn't he just the cutest thing you have ever seen?!?

he now had 5 teeth (notice all the drool). He is officially ALL over the place. Crawling, standing, and doing downward dog pose. He is just so funny!
come on those cheeks are YUMMY!!

Can't stop the twirl

Wow! What a crazy couple weeks with our Londee girl!
London's case of "bells palsy" lasted about 10 days. I had never heard of Bells Palsy before, but sure talked to a lot of people who had. Apparently when little kids get it the prognosis is really good, UNLESS the Dr thinks something is wrong with the cornea (which our Dr wanted us to go see a specialist-so we did. and it looked good) OR if the Dr wants to rule out a tumor (which almost about killed me- we saw the neurologist whom i have come to LOVE-all checked out in our favor)
The neurologist said he thinks her case of Bells Palsy was caused by the herpes virus (AKA cold sore in her inner ear).
Anyway- London is doing really well. One Dr told me, "Nothing is going to stop this girl". Its so true. I don't think anything can stop her!
Keep on twirling London girl!

9 Months

This is what 9 months looks like...
Isn't he beautiful?!?
Weston is doing amazing! We think we finally have him figured out.
Turns out Weston has both "breath holding spells" and "infantile epilepsy"
Totally unrelated to each other. With his new medication we have gotten his "shaking" seizures under control, but he continues to pass out when he cries too hard or gets startled. Now we know that they are unrelated to each other we can breath a little easier that his seizures might be gone. The breath holding thing is not serious and they say he will grow out of them by the time he is 4. If anyone wants to see a video of it let me know- I started to video tape them.
We love you Wes!

Missing you! (day154)

My brother, Tom and his family moved to Utah this week. Its been beyond sad.

These 4 girls have always been together. I had fun taking their pictures, but we for sure missed Abbie!

Soon Kinny will be off to college and the other girls won't be too far behind.

I hate that we are all getting older, but at the same time i can't wait to see where life take these girls. They are AMAZING!

Emotions (day 152)

People keep asking me if its been easier dealing with Weston seizures because London also went through it. You would think it would be, but really its not.

Weston started having seizures everyday, they are so hard to handle! I hate them!

First emotion-Panic

2nd emotion-cry like a little girl(while still freaking out)

3rd emotion-survival instincts (this even surprises me)

4th emotion-sad, oh so sad!

5th-worry. Lots and lots of worry!

6th-love, love, love.

We met with the neurologist today. It was a long visit-He suggested he go on seizure meds.

This this is where we are.

So far so good.

Update:its been 6days on meds and not one single seizure. He has been such a happy baby! I love him like crazy!

She runs (day 128)

When I got home from my run today London begged me to take her. She was so cute! She put on her pink shorts like mommy, her pick shoes like mommy, and she had dad help her make a ipod holder like mommy (that was a early Mothers Day gift from London). We ran around the block. She was in heaven! She said. "mommy don't bring the stroller I am not a baby anymore I can run fast just like you". Isn't she cute?!? little does she know I am not very fast :)

ps- I can't believe I am posting this picture of myself (remember I still have 10lbs to go) but it was a cute memory and I don't want to forget it, even if i don't look my best!

campout (day 127)

Chris and Everett were supposed to go on the Fathers and Sons camp out this weekend, but it didn't work out as planned. He had to have surgery on his gums/teeth and he also threw out his back at work. Even though he was in lots of pain he and London roasted marshmallow's out back. It was pretty cute!

She bakes (day 126)

I am learning that when London gets hyper we need to get her doing something productive like ASAP. Baking and painting have been the best for her. She loves to bake! I really try to let her do most of the work. It's worth the mess!
