Bad week

The last couple weeks have been rough at our house.

This isn't a "feel sorry" for me post but i do want to document what has been going on in our crazy lives.

Everett- has turned from my "best" child to my "worst"! He yells and screams, i mean he SCREAMS all day! it was making me so sad i didn't know how i can help him and i was praying for patience. Turns out he is getting his 2 year molars and has 4 blisters in his mouth the size of large gumballs. the Dr gave him some pain meds but he is still having some rough days. I miss my easy peasy little boy- COME BACK!

On Sunday we started noticing London was making a strange face. I thought she was just picking up a bad habit, but the next day was even worse. By Tuesday i was freaking out! By Wed i was really freaking out. Thursday i took her into the Dr ,where he told me she has Bells Palsy. Basically she has paralysis on the right side of her face (the 7th nerve in her face). If that is what she in deed has it should resolve on its own over time. He was concerned about her eyes and a couple other things SO we will be meeting with the eye specialist and neurologist next week.-wish us luck!

This has been hard for me. We pray and are hopeful that everything will resolve and she will get back to normal soon. (it's hard to capture it in a picture but this gives you an idea)

Weston is our "happy, smile at anyone kid". He has had a big week this week. He is in the early stage or crawling and getting into everything. He is trying and sometime succeeds at pulling himself up on things (which leads to falling and hurting himself). He finally got one top tooth with another close behind.

Weston also continues with seizures- he has had 3 in the last 2 weeks. We meet with the neurologist next week for him too, aren't we lucky?!?

I still have a gut feeling that everything is fine with him. I really believe this is something he will grow out of- that being said its still really hard on us. London might have some issues after watching him go through this-its been hard on her.

He really is the happiest little thing and we adore him.

Like I said don't feel sorry for us. Our trails are small and we muster through.
I love my kids and this is all part of being a Mom.

Hey stranger...You don't sound at all like you are feeling sorry for yourself! That is a big load you are carrying! It's rough as a mom to watch "stuff" happen to your kids that you can't control. You are amazing! And as a side note...two of my three roommates in college had Bells Palsy and both went back to 'normal' after a year or so and are just as beautiful as ever. Good luck and you and your sweet peas are in our prayers.
