We had a wonderful 4Th. I was bummed we were not able to get out of the heat, but it turned out to be a great weekend with fun friends and wonderful family. The day of the 4Th was spent at my parents eating yummy food and swimming. Later that night we took London to go see some fireworks at Gilbert Days-anyone else see this fireworks show? Did something go wrong or was that really it? We were so confused and it seemed everyone around us was as well. It was pretty sad as fireworks shows go. Regardless, London was taken back and seemed to like all the colors. Sat we took London to Tempe to have fun at the splash park-we went with some friends and had a great time. Later that day we spent some time at my parents pool with more friends. We had a great time! Hope you all had a wonderful 4Th of July!

Yes, we saw the Gilbert Days fireworkds at Mesquite. They were TOTALLY lame. I couldn't believe that delay in between the fireworks. It was ridiculous. We did however, have quite a show where we were. We were behind the school on Elliot in the Business complex or something. Anyways, there was a man there who was being VERY rude to people because across the street was his so called private property. He ended up swearing and being a total jerk. The cops came and tried to arrest him for disorderly conduct, but he resisted arrest, so they tased him and pepper sprayed him. It was CRAZY!! So, our show wasn't the lame-o fireworks. It was 4 cop cars, a firetruck, and an ambulance. :)
Liz, we missed you here in Utah, camping with us. You really need to make a trip to go camping with us, London would love it.
Yea for forth of july babies. London is so cute! I read the blog of the mother who lost her baby. It has hit me hard. Thank you for linking it. We hope you guys are doing well! You sure look like you are (: What a fun splash park. We have one here that just opened up but it has to be really warm outside for it to be fun so we have like 3 possible days that it would be worth it to go this summer. James loved it when we did get to go.

ok London is so dang cute...in nursery we kept talking about fireworks and making boom noises and she would crack up...love her fourth of july outfit, so cute!
p.s. i LOVE London's room...emma would be in heaven if her room looked like this!
