Baby Shower

My friends threw me a wonderful baby shower last night. I don't always like these sort of things, being center of attention is not my thing, but I must admit it was great and I had a lot of fun. I always love a girls night out! And, i did not feel uncomfortable in the least. I have such wonderful friends from our ward and so thankful for all that they do. I thought everything looked beautiful and all the little details were amazing! I know a lot of work went into this and I am so thankful for all their hard work. Thank you to all those who came and for all the wonderful gifts. I know how busy everyone is and I really appreciate you taking time out of your lives to come and support. Also, a HUGE thank you for all those who helped!

Erin and Tiffany-Thank you so much! I really am blessed to have such great friends!!

I am feeling ready for this little guy to arrive now :) I am entering my 37th week this week -YEAH!! Still don't know what kind of birth we will have. We are hoping its not another c-section, but we will know more on that next week at my appt.
I am convinced he is trying to break my ribs though :)

30 Down 10 To Go

30 Weeks
I realize that this is an awful picture! As hard as it is to look at I am glad I have them to document just how big I really can get ( I am not just talking about my belly either)
This pregnancy has actually gone pretty well. I really have nothing to complain about. That doesn't mean that I am not looking forward to it being over. He is very active and moves pretty much all day and all night long. Anyway, we are really getting excited for him (still not 100% sure on his name) to arrive. Chris loves to feel him move and London loves to give him loves and play in his room. I love that I only have 10 weeks left :)
If he gives me stretch marks I might have something to complain about (somehow I escaped them with London)

52 BP, Half Way There!

This week I am so thankful to be half way there! I hit my 20 week mark this week and I must say I see the end in sight...I think! This pregnancy has been so different then the first, or maybe I just forgot or had a better attitude back then :) One thing that is the same is that he is moving like crazy!! I thought for sure he was going to be calm in there, but he might be more like London then I thought. I have been feeling great! After the first trimester the sickness went away, I have a few more aches and pains this go around but all in all things are going well. I haven't stepped on the scale since my last appt but I am pretty sure I am gaining like crazy (sniff sniff) oh well, I have a good reason right? The skinny jeans are gone and the shirt you see in the picture kept popping open so I have moved on the bigger and more comfortable things to wear(sniff sniff)
We are so excited about having a boy! The Dr had no doubt it was a boy and of course that made Chris proud. I had a tad anxiety attack on the way home from the Doctor's. I have no idea how to do a boy!I have nothing for him and right now his room is a ugly blue-so much to do!
I was feeling a tad overwhelmed but things are already starting to look up. I keep finding cute boy clothes(although Chris wants to be in charge of this area) and I found the best fabric for his nursery. This is going to be fun :)
Woo HOO half way there! We are thankful things are looking happy and healthy so far.

Video

Thank you family and friends for all your emails, phone calls, and comments. I was actually surprised by how many people we heard from-I figured it is just another baby to add to the bunch, but I really appreciate so many people being so excited for us and sharing in our joy. I even got a drop off of Popsicles and pickles-Thanks Corie! You are always so thoughtful!! I saved the comments for London’s book and I think I’ll do the same for this baby-I am sure when he/she gets older it will be fun to look back on.

I got permission from Chris to post this video. It's London and I telling him about the new baby, he is very shocked to say the least. And, the reason why he was asking,"how did this happen?" is because the week before the Dr said we were not pregnant. Anyway, it's a cute video and I thought I share.

Thanks again everyone! We are so excited for it to be out in the open and not have to keep such a fun secret anymore.

52 BP,Pickles and Popsicles

52 Blessing's Project
(Week 9)

This week we are extremely blessed! After months of trying(10 to be exact) we are thrilled to announce that we are having another baby! Yep, that's right we are adding to this little family of ours and we couldn't be more thrilled!

I wasn't ready to come out with the news just yet, but with this growing belly, constant sickness, and a husband who has been begging to be able to share the news, I figured the time has come.

If I lied to you about being pregnant I promise I didn't mean to at first. You see, I went for a check up on the day of my missed period, and the DR said that the test came out negative and we needed to do one more round of fertility before we moved onto the next step. He scheduled me an ultrasound and told me he would get back in touch with me. After the ultrasound he called and said everything looked normal and start the fertility as scheduled. He then had his nurse call back and say just to make sure, "take one more pregnancy test". I was pretty peeved because I HATE pregnancy test and didn't want to waste the $14 bucks. I figured if I were pregnant he would have known and it would have shown up in the ultrasound. After telling my sister that my Dr was a loser, she convinced me to go take a test- I did and within seconds two lines appeared. WHAT!?! I was about 7 weeks when I found out. If I lied to you after that I am so sorry, I just wasn't ready to tell yet.

I have had 2 appointments so far-12 weeks- Mid Sept due date- everything is looking good.

I have been pretty sick to say the least and if I don't get a nap a day I am doomed.

Now you can see why I have had a good excuse for being so flaky lately-not returning phone calls, reschedule hair appts, no makeup and hair in a pony etc... I think I spoke too soon when I would brag that I just didn't get sick with London :) Hopefully with just one week left in the first trimester I will start feeling more like myself...hopefully!!

We feel so blessed! It is a hard thing to put your body through those fertility treatments, and I was not myself while on them, but they have worked both times on the last round, so we are extremely grateful for modern medicine! It has all been worth it to me though-we have a growing family and we are just so excited! We thank all of our family and friends for their prayers. To my nephew Max, I think your family fast worked-Thank you!

JOY JOY JOY!!!
Bring on the pickles and the popsicles Lizzy is pregnant!! (Just so you know I always crave these things, but when I am pregnant watch out!)
