52 Blessing's Project
(Week 9)

This week we are extremely blessed! After months of trying(10 to be exact) we are thrilled to announce that we are having another baby! Yep, that's right we are adding to this little family of ours and we couldn't be more thrilled!
I wasn't ready to come out with the news just yet, but with this growing belly, constant sickness, and a husband who has been begging to be able to share the news, I figured the time has come.
If I lied to you about being pregnant I promise I didn't mean to at first. You see, I went for a check up on the day of my missed period, and the DR said that the test came out negative and we needed to do one more round of fertility before we moved onto the next step. He scheduled me an ultrasound and told me he would get back in touch with me. After the ultrasound he called and said everything looked normal and start the fertility as scheduled. He then had his nurse call back and say just to make sure, "take one more pregnancy test". I was pretty peeved because I HATE pregnancy test and didn't want to waste the $14 bucks. I figured if I were pregnant he would have known and it would have shown up in the ultrasound. After telling my sister that my Dr was a loser, she convinced me to go take a test- I did and within seconds two lines appeared. WHAT!?! I was about 7 weeks when I found out. If I lied to you after that I am so sorry, I just wasn't ready to tell yet.
I have had 2 appointments so far-12 weeks- Mid Sept due date- everything is looking good.
I have been pretty sick to say the least and if I don't get a nap a day I am doomed.
Now you can see why I have had a good excuse for being so flaky lately-not returning phone calls, reschedule hair appts, no makeup and hair in a pony etc... I think I spoke too soon when I would brag that I just didn't get sick with London :) Hopefully with just one week left in the first trimester I will start feeling more like myself...hopefully!!
We feel so blessed! It is a hard thing to put your body through those fertility treatments, and I was not myself while on them, but they have worked both times on the last round, so we are extremely grateful for modern medicine! It has all been worth it to me though-we have a growing family and we are just so excited! We thank all of our family and friends for their prayers. To my nephew Max, I think your family fast worked-Thank you!
JOY JOY JOY!!!
Bring on the pickles and the popsicles Lizzy is pregnant!! (Just so you know I always crave these things, but when I am pregnant watch out!)
