What another wonderful week at the Rigby house. I feel so blessed and overwhelmed with joy right now. Things are good, life is great!
First: Fun Night
We joined a babysitting group with 2 other families and this weekend was our night to watch the 6 1/2 kids. All these kids are just so fun and so well behaved. We had a fun night and London just loves her little friends.
2nd: Another finished project. I am pretty proud of this thing! I should have taken a picture when it was in a million pieces. Anyway, I pretty much love it and happy I got it done. I did the whole thing by myself, but my Mom was there for moral support and guidance (thanks Mom) London was also very nice to let me get it done :)
Third: The BEST day ever!! I love Mothers Day! My birthday is at Christmas, and my anniversary is by London's and Chris's b-day so I pretty much live for Mothers Day. The first year we were married I woke up to a dozen roses and breakfast in bed- I was so confused because we didn't have any kids and I wasn't a mother. When I asked Chris what it was for he said, "Mothers Day!" I then said "I am not a Mom!" his reply "not yet but someday you will be". That is just a glipse of how wonderful he makes this day for me. Here is the play by play, sorry if it makes you jealous but this is MY DAY and I live for it each year!! :)
Morning-London wakes me up and brings in a cute bag and says, "hereyougo" Thank you London I smell better already :)
Breakfast: YUMMY pancakes from scratch (yes my husband is a great cook and YES they were oh so yummy!)
Afternoon:Another gift this one is from Chris- I can't wait to escape and read it-Thank you! followed by the best nap ever!
Dinner: Filet Mignon, baked potato, Cesar salad-SO SUPER YUMMY! I am so glad he was a river guide for all those years because that is where he learned to cook :) After dinner he said he had one more thing for me and this one was from our unborn baby boy-I am so excited to swing with him outside thank you thank you!!
Dessert: Was at my parents-we had a wonderful time and London loves her cousins. It makes me a tad sad she is getting more and more shy as time goes on, but if you let her warm up she comes out of her shell. Thank you Mom and Dad for a great night! Thanks Dad for the wonderful comments on Mothers-Thanks Mom for being the best Mom in the world! I have so much respect for you and am so grateful for the example you are to all of us.
Sidenote-My father-in-law sent me an ecard and it really made me smile. I think its is wonderful that he would think of his daughter-in -laws and the mother of his grandchildren on this special day. Anyway, I loved it so thank you so much!
(London eating the yummy breakfast dad made for us)
(our peach tree-they are so good this year-YUM)
(London eating peaches on my new swing-love it!)
Thank you Chris for another wonderful Mother's Day!

This week I am thankful for moments like these...
London LOVES the 12 Dancing Princess movie and she LOVES to dance! If you watch her while she is dancing she will stop, but if you act like you are not watching her watch out!! On this night Chris got down with her and they danced for like an hour to the music video. It is a moment that I don't think I will ever forget. She LOVES her Dad and he LOVES her.
The pictures don't do justice for how cute it really was- i have a video of it but I think I'll keep that one just for us :) I just love my little family and feel so blessed to be making memories with them.
