Okay, so I have to tell of an amazing experience we had last week. When London had her MRI on Thursday I was super nervous about it for a couple reason 1.Her appt wasn't until 9:30am-she couldn't eat anything, and she usually wakes up around 6am! 2. They had to put a IV in and sedate her (the last IV she had didn't go so well) 3. I was nervous about the sedation, and how she would be coming out of it. 4.What they would or wouldn't find on the MRI. Anyway, when she woke up at 6am she never once started to look for food, and was in the best mood. When we got to the hospital she was so happy- she was even charming all the hospital staff (even the men). When they took her back, instead of throwing her on the bed to take her vitals, they put her on floor and let her play around. They took her vitals on her time, and on her level-they didn't rush anything (because of this it only took 5 min and she never once cried). One nurse stayed with us the whole time and explained everything as it was happening. When it was time to take her for the MRI, they assured us they would not poke her w/ any needles until the Gas was given to her. About a half hour after they took her our nurse told us she did great and didn't feel a thing. About and Hour later she was back in our arms and happy as we have ever seen her. This experience was not like I thought it was going to be, and i truly feel that the Nurses were a BIG reason why (not to mention many prayers and fasting). They were so good with her and it made it so much easier on us.
So my point of this whole thing is that some nurses just rock! I really want to do something for the staff that worked with her that day, especially the nurse that was with us the whole time. any ideas????
After many days of waiting for the results the Doctor called today and said her MRI looked normal. Which means they think she has Infantile Epilepsy, and hopefully it's something she will grow out of. Her medication seems to be working- she has gone over a week w/out a seizure :)

We are really glad that London is doing better. We have been thinking about you guys alot this week. Tom was thinking about Chris being a great dad on Father's Day. Jumping off the plane to rescue his wife and daughter! What a good guy.

so glad London is doing better and her meds are working! for the nurse you could get something at bath and body works, they have a big sale right now, or candy is always a nice treat! it's more the thought than the actual gift! i'm sure they rarely get shown the appreciation.

We are so happy things went well. We understand how hard it is to have a day of fasting your baby and then handing it off to the doctors. We are so greatful for the Priesthood power and prayers, it's real, it really is!! She will get past this, she will.
