London LOVES the water! She is for sure a water baby! She likes to go under water and splash as much as she can. She could be in the pool all day, and most days she is. This picture is of London putting her face in the fountain and loving every minute of it!
She is the happiest I have ever seen her when she is in the water-she has no fear!
First came rolling, and then rolling where ever she needed to go (I saw 5 rolls to get to the couch). Then came reaching, then came...
standing...then came walking while holding on to things. Then finally came CRAWLING!!! It was just a little out of order, but who cares she is CRAWLING!! She will only take about 4 crawls forward then 4 crawls backwards, but she is crawling :) She would much rather walk then crawl, and trust me she is working on it! It's time to baby proof our house...yikes!
It's official she is done nursing, and it's not by my choice either. She was so done about 2 months ago, but i just kept trying and trying- i finally gave up about a week ago. When she had her stay in the hospital they gave her a bottle of Enfamil, and she was hooked (sniff sniff) It's been more emotional for me then I thought. Plus, who wants to pay for this stuff, its so expensive! We tried other brands but they weren't very good on her tummy! again, sniff sniff!
London loves her Cheerios, and I have to say so does Dad-keeps her quiet during church :)
I have to thank my sister-in-law Susie for this WONDERFUL trick. when London was a newborn we use to rock her on the yoga ball to get her to sleep (Susie's idea)Well, we had to break it out once again. When London started having her seizures they told us she needed less stress in her life, which means she couldn't cry herself to sleep anymore. The ball sure does the trick, but you do need patience...like 15-20 minutes!! So yes, the Yoga ball will be coming to the beach with us this year :) Thanks Susie!
Then their is sleep...or lack of sleep i guess i should say. London has been kind of spoiled in this department. When she wakes up we run to her side so she doesn't cry for too long. This means she knows we will just come and get her at any given moment. She cries, we come running-we are going out of our mind! Spoiled little thing!
And finally the drugs A.K.A heaven sent drugs! London has gone almost 4 weeks w/out a seizure YEA! I hate the fact that she has to be on something, but the Doctor said it would help me more then her, and he was 100% correct! That last seizure did me in, I really don't think I will ever be the same, but her meds are helping me get through it. As time continues to go on I feel more confident she is not going to have another (we pray).
We Love our little girl! We feel so blessed to have her in our lives. She is only 9 months old, but she sure knows how to make us smile :)
