Birthday In The White Mountains...

Friday was my birthday and what a GREAT day it turned out to be (I usually hate my birthday because its so close to Christmas and I feel like I am getting old) anyway, It started off with my sister -in -law Michelle offering to watch London so i could enjoy a wonderful Lunch with my good friend Michele. It was so nice to actually sit, chat, and eat without any interruptions. Thanks girls that was very nice!! My Mom also came over and watched London while I went and got a few things for the trip (Thanks Mom). I sure love London, but it's so nice to get a break every once and awhile.

On my way home from lunch Chris called and said he would be home in 2 hours and I needed to go pack our bags. I am so not good with last minute trips, so after drilling him for more info he said we were going up to the White Mountains. (He has heard me express my sadness over not seeing snow in over 2 years, and my need to get away) So, he planned a wonderful trip for our little family. We had SOOOOO much fun! It was so needed!

When we got the hotel we found out the pool and Hot tub were open for 24 hours, we forgot swimsuits so we made a quick trip to Kmart in searching for swim wear. They didn't have any, so we made due with what they did have (pretty funny). We went and played in the pool and hot tub and had a blast. The next day we woke up and went sledding in Sunrise and it was absolutely beautiful. The snow was awesome, it was everything i had been missing! London was so excited! The second we got out of the car and she saw all the snow she just starting to smile and laugh. We had a great time sledding! I think it was just so fun to see her face light up and discover something she hadn't experienced. She is such a out doors child, and it was just so fun to have her with us!

Like i said... it was a great trip! Chris went over and beyond to make my day perfect!! It was by far the best b-day ever! Thank you so much Chris, you're too good to me!!
